Things you can use this space for: – Advice on how to ensure AI is regulated properly. – Your biggest fears and concerns that you feel it is their responsibility to get ahead of. – Reasonable, articulate, and politically acceptable criticisms of their efforts so far WITH a path forward for improvement. – Anything else you’d like to share with them as a representative of your generation stepping into this new world. WHAT TO DO/NOT DO – Choose whatever topic(s) you’d like to discuss as long as they’re relevant. – Write in speech format – address Congress, don’t just write an essay. How would you actually show up and talk to them? – DON’T treat this as a free-write exercise/stream of consciousness just because it’s a speech – Reference and support the points you’re raising – Utilize good organizational structure – Assume your speech will be made publicly available (so make sure you’re willing to stand by your statements and… make sure you don’t have any typos/grammatical issues, cuz that’d be a bad look!)
