Exam 2 There are five questions below. Answer two of them. Your answer to each question should be between 500 and 1000 words long. Louisiana’s distinctive nonpartisan primary system has been a principal actor in Louisiana elections since its invention during Edwin Edwards’s governorship. Please explain and illustrate the effects of this unique electoral system by way of one or two elections over the last 35 years. For example, you could describe the election of 2003 and talk about how a large field with multiple Republicans and Democrats resulted in a general election contest between Bobby Jindal and Kathleen Blanco. Or, you could focus on any other election since the implementation of the nonpartisan primary.
