GOVT 2306 Signature Assignment Death Row Documentary Reflection Paper Watch this 40 minute National Geographic death row video and then answer the questions below… Does this documentary show bias either for or against the death penalty?
Do you think all of the men, any of the men, or some of the men in the documentary should have received the death penalty?
Do you believe in/support the death penalty? Why or why not? Support your opinion with facts, supported by sources. Do not give blanket statements without support from outside sources. At the very end of the documentary, the producers say that (I am paraphrasing here) society bears some responsibility for failing these men and because of that should not execute the ones that they have failed. Do you agree or disagree and why? In what ways may have society failed them? Are these people failed by society or are they making bad decisions?
