Describe the main contention and/or the issue under consideration in an argumentative analysis paper. The body is where you explain your thinking and provide examples linked to the issue or argument you are analysing. This should demonstrate your opinions on whether the author handled their argumentation points deftly or poorly. You are free to include elements from Week 1’s “logical vocabulary and tools” slide as well as your own assessment. The “standard form” can be used to present your analysis. The key premises and the conclusion you are analysing should each be listed as a separate section within the body of the paper, according to conventional format. Conclusion in which you summarize some of the main argumentative points of your work. This is not the area to introduce new problems or quotes. It should remind the reader of your main ideas and their connections.
