Through personal reflection you will analyze your personal adolescence as related to the issues of self-esteem (including appearance, competency, and physical development), peer relationships, parenting style (including discipline, communication, rules/expectations) and values. In your paper summarize your development including your cognitive and emotional reactions during your development. Compare and contrast those insights to those of your parent(s) and sibling(s) as well as describe the current theory or research regarding each of these areas. Finally your personal reaction and insights in light of the research and your familial conversations should conclude the paper. For your research you should cite a minimum of 2 scholarly articles for each of the four areas. All internet articles must be full text journal articles. You may also use books other than your textbook for citations considered a resource. Paper must be typed and double spaced with 1 inch margins. Please use 12 point Times New Roman font. Paper should be typed in APA style.
