Assignment Question

The main issues addressed in section 6.2 are about our nature. What are we? Do we have some kind of essential self or is that an illusion? Related to this is the question of whether we are just physical beings, or whether we are mental beings, and what the difference is. It is a nicely done section and I encourage you to use all the resources. Address the question whether you are the same person now as the person you were born as. If you are the same, then what makes you the same? If you are not the same, then why do other people (including your mother) think you are the same person as that baby? They would be alarmed if it turned out there had been a mix up at the time of your birth and you are not in fact the same person as the baby your mother gave birth to then because two babies got switched.
